Speaking of same as it ever was…we are the gold standard in terms of FBS teams comparing their FCS scheduled opponents. I’m a big UT fan and follow their boards as much as some of ours and they just scheduled Montana for a 2011 game, and a lot of the discussion on that board is about us.

Cline snub and Legree disrespect are the issues from the preseason list.

I guess at the Home games when Cline catches an amazing pass we should all shout underrated, underrated.

Cline wouldn’t be Cline if he made that list though.

Cline’s nature is to come out of no where and make a play. He can’t do that if he gets the respect he deserves.

It does not matter what his numbers say, Quick and Coco will get more attention from the defense then Cline and he will always benefit from that.

That is true Gwalt. It is funny though because Cline is our most dependable WR. Hey it works though.

True asu7, but most dependable and most explosive are not the same, and that’s why defenses will always cue on Quick and Coco. But as you said, it does work to our advantage.

May not have to cue on Coco, since he is listed as a backup still. Maybe that will change when season starts.

herbstreitsucks is right … Delhommo is now the browns problem … Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase takning the browns to the superbowl. The Panthers secondary will get more passes thrown to them when we play the browns than Delhommo threw to his own receivers last year.

Cline caught 2 TDs last year. Sure, one of them was the biggest of the season. But, 2 TDs keeps him off the preseason lists.

Legree not being the preseason defensive player of the year is the bigger snub.

Interesting…. not sure how I feel about these alternates yet. A little to Oregon-ish for me right now.

Nike introduced these Pro Combat high-performance uniforms last year with about a dozen FBS programs. They’re supposedly made of a more durable, yet breathable fabric. Several of the teams had an “old-school/throwback/retro” look about them. It seems as though that’s what they’re aiming for with the alternates ASU will wear this season.

Dan, dook and uncch have no where else to move up to, ASU does.

With just 24 days left till Fan Fest and 38 days before the Bashing at Nooga, it is time for the return of the TOP 25 FCS by mtd Security. But, first I will go through each conference the make my predictions for each conference. Over the next two weeks I will post each individual conference and make by remarks about each conference. Yes, I do think App will win the Southern, but right now that is as far as I will go with the Southern. I will start with the Big Sky. I will post this by Thursday night maybe early. After I go through each individual conference I will post the PRESEASON TOP 25 FCS BY MTD SECURITY. AS ALWAYS COMMENT IS INVITED.

Alternate uniforms are not exciting to me. What ever happened to ASU’s colors being Black and GOLD?

Apparently one of the freshman QB’s we brought in has already left.

I really don’t blame the guy. We seem to have plenty of QBs.

Ya his chances at playing were slim to none as we recruited the heck out of some QBs this year.

Skirt the issue all you like, there is a higher level of football than where ASU now plays.

He has apparently decided to be closer to home and has some personal issues to deal with. He has decided not to play college football. I don’t think it was the competition he faced at QB.

He probably took one look at that jersey and decided to leave.

It is not an issue to consider when we have no invitation or open door to move. Time for everyone to move past this for a few months.
