The only number I’m concerned about is the #1 that comes with a “W” at Chattanooga. All this other hogwash don’t mean a thang.

Stone curtain is going to lay the wet hammer to them!!!

Comment by nomadb 12.04.09 @ 10:11 am

The offense WILL put up points.

The defense WILL drop the wet hammer on the Spiders.

Special Teams WILL win the field position battle.

Mr. 50/50 WILL give me a damn aneurysm every time he lines up a kick.

Appalachian State WILL beat Richmond.

Where there’s a WILL, there’s a WIN.

Fear The AppNation.

DEEEEFence beat Elon.
beat Western.
beat SC St.
will beat the Spiders.

Tanyi,Smith,Fletcher and Co. will be Eric Ward’s worst nightmare on Saturday night.

So if Jason Vitaris hits 18 of 25 field goals (72 percent) and 51 of 51 in PATs (even you know that percentage), how it he’s Mr. 50/50?

Comment by AppGrad78 12.04.09 @ 11:35 am

2-4 at Elon, biggest game of the season. Mr. 50-50.

Comment by mgood89 12.04.09 @ 11:53 am

Droppin’ the wet hammer!!! Love it!

Comment by Fleetwood App 12.04.09 @ 12:46 pm

It is not going to be a wet hammer, it is going to be an ICE HAMMER.

Comment by D.R.Fields 12.04.09 @ 1:20 pm

That doesn’t sound safe.

“2-4 at Elon, biggest game of the season. Mr. 50-50.”

Oh, so that’s how it works. He makes all-conference (second team) but has one bad game … and gets thrown under the bus. Logical.

Comment by AppGrad78 12.04.09 @ 4:42 pm

Also because most of his misses are from inside 30 yards…

Comment by Dan 12.04.09 @ 4:53 pm

The name also came about after the Citadel game where he was stone cold until overtime. Vitaris has had his struggles, that has to be remembered. As long as he comes through down the stretch then it is all good. Heck, he even got some “Fitty” love at the SC State game. That would be fifty translated to the lingo of a certain rapper who apparently likes to be associated with silver coins featuring John F. Kennedy.

Comment by Jamey 12.04.09 @ 5:40 pm

Armanti and Ward both have 41 wins. That is interesting.

Comment by clayton 12.04.09 @ 6:21 pm
