Will be good to see No. 20 back in the backfield. Devon reminds me of Deangelo Williams a little, a bowling ball who can stop on a dime. And it doesn’t hurt to wear that jersey number, I can think of one pretty good back from Motown who also wore that number.
Comment by Seth 08.21.09 @ 7:24 pmD Moore is going to be huge this year. I still think his injury is the number one reason we didn’t take it all last year
Comment by Gwaltineer 08.22.09 @ 12:37 amI have very high expectation from Devon this year…..its going to be the double D (Devon and Defense)…..lets go get some Pirate bootie!
Comment by Dcocny 08.22.09 @ 8:38 amI really like the Moore Radford tandem at RB. Also, Cedric Baker seems to be solid as well. Maybe we’ll run a reverse on the first play vs. ECU. If not, I say throw it long to B.Quick and let him go up for it.
Comment by appfanmidwest 08.22.09 @ 8:45 amSomebody help me understand….what do the chains do to the squats video?
He 455lbs 10x! WOW
Comment by Jason 08.22.09 @ 2:35 pmThe chains make it heavier as he lifts/suspends them off the ground and it gets lighter when he goes back down. That is raw power!!!
Comment by 455x10xchains 08.22.09 @ 2:59 pmAnyone else see that Jeff Dillman is leaving?
Comment by Gwaltineer 08.22.09 @ 4:32 pmI suck at box squats. I just sit down, then can’t get up.
Comment by clayton 08.24.09 @ 5:45 amDevon is a true professional with an unprecedented work ethic. He actually squatted 515 lbs for 10 reps, but we didn’t get it on YouTube. The person who commented on the chains is correct. The chains can also help you recruit more motor units. Devon also landed a 42″ box jump, set the record on the Woodway FORCE 40 yd dash and the record on the PROWLER sled (20 yd suicides). We had many big name athletes train with us this summer and Devon set the most records. Two still stand. He will have a stellar year!
