This just in – the AppFan.com Store is thisclose to being able to offer official NIKE custom replica App State football jerseys. These will NOT be exact replicas of our current uniforms, but near replicas decked out with a swoosh. They will be offered exclusively in the AppFan.com store. We have two questions for you Appfans – what number should be on the jersey, and what color should it be – white or black? (Just leave a comment with regard to color).
WHY WHITE: We ask about color since most App State imagery the past few years (Michigan, titles 1 & 3 2) has been dominated by the white jersey. Our heart is black, of course.

Comment by George 08.20.08 @ 4:54 pmI would go for one in each color. As for numbers, if you get to personalize it I am going with #2. That is my old sports number from when I was a kid and I could wear it for years to come with no concern of what player currently has it.

As for the number, I don’t really care, though I should probably not choose one of the earth movers since I have more of a “kicker” build. (By punter build, I mean the kickers of old, not the “Rauch-style, I actually worked out in school” build)

Armanti, Pierre, or DJ would be the first 3 choices easily in my opinion. I am sure they will end up with #14 on them though so we can all look like The Wizzud!
