Dexter sacks two Halls of Fame

Today, App State great Dexter Coakley is being officially inducted into the SoCon Hall of Fame.

But first up, a Mountaineer first. He’s also headed to the College Football Hall of Fame.

He gave ‘em hell!

Dexter Coakley, a former Appalachian State linebacker, has been selected by the National Football Foundation as one of six members of the 2011 Divisional Hall of Fame class. Coakley is the first-ever inductee from Appalachian State.
