APPS WIN. 85-70. Wow.
App State still has two games left to play, but its immediate postseason destiny is already known.
Capel’s Crew will have the third seed in the North, and take on the Stink in the first round. The winner of that game will play one of two teams still vying for second seed in the South – Furman and Wofford.

Today begins the NFL version of the SI Swimsuit issue. Hordes of men – and a few ladies – will drool with elongated excitement as dozens of young men bare almost all for the scout world to see.

Decisions – “Jacksonville State is running up on a couple key deadlines in its decision toward moving to the FBS. “I would suspect we ought to have some kind of decision around April, May at the latest,” Folsom said. Conference USA is said to be aggressively pursuing a 16-team league alignment.”

Rare sweep – “Georgia Southern dropped SoCon leader App State 67-57 Monday night. In getting the win over the Mountaineers (21-5, 16-3 SoCon), the Eagles (12-16, 9-10 SoCon) also picked up their first Southern Conference road victory.” Meanwhile …. bah!

Monday some dude with some tweet cred went public with .. /whisperwhisperwhisper … the App State AD is meeting with CUSA peeps.
AND THE APP WORLD SHOOK! And it was good!
Of course, the tweet mysteriously disappeared. But not before message boards, twitter feeds and facebook postings erupted in eruptions of eruptions.

The SoCon champs at home against Wofford today in the annual Pink Zone game. Tipoff at 2. Try and break the coaching staff’s bank. Then the men play at High Point in a game allegedly busting some kind of bracket somewhere. Neither team has a winning record. Tipoff at 7.
